A Wine Dinner Elopement

October 28th, 2010

Jenny and David

10/1/10

I loved this Outer Banks Wedding Elopment the moment I walked in the room when candlelight and warm colors surrounded me.  The elegance, the pure joy, the simple but totally chic style this bride put into every detail. OK, stop now, my brides are killing me with these wonderful ideas that are so totally off the top HOT, I just love it!

Reflections of Simple and Dreamy

This could be one of our most favorite "last minute" weddings of all time.  Less than two weeks after they hired us, Anna and John Eloped on the beach of Kill Devil Hills in a short intimate ceremony at the waters edge. A great way to watch simple beach done so right.  Not too little, not over done, simple and dreamy.  Hundred of water puddles left behind from high tide an hour earlier made for a sparkling beach walk after.  Then it was done, short, sweet, married.

5 guests and Us – Eloping in STyle at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, NC

August 24th, 2010

Rachel and Shaun

7/19/10

I love the Sanderling in the Outer Banks, NC for any size wedding, so I was excited to be called into this intimate affair there in July.  There were only 6 of them, the couple, parents and a nephew.  I arrived to the groom trying to figure out how to put his flower one, she was there helping him, beforehand, the most sweet and innocent girl you have ever seen.  Her demure of southern charm set the stage for this very short ceremony of laughs, hugs, and true true love.  When I was taking the photos I mentioned they couldn't take their eyes off of each other, she laughed and in her southern drawl said, "Yes, we are SO in love" giggling, they headed off to the beach, hanging out for ten minutes insistent on not one single posed shot, truly "hanging out" with each other.  If only everything in life couple be this simple and perfect.
