A Whalehead Club wedding to DIE for

March 14th, 2012

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more in love one of staff member Chris of Beach Productions beach weddings. This one was at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC and the reception was at Aqua S Restaurant in Duck, NC.  I love the details, seeing the story of the wedding unfold throughout the night in these images, and mostly the INSANELY gorgeous sunset that he captured. PS….Aqua S, if you are having a smaller wedding or a rehearsal dinner, is one of the best locations for sunset in Duck, NC.  We’re talking out of this world ladies and gents!..no words can describe that awesomeness but images can! Call us now to book him because after our clients see this one, the phones are going to be off the Hook – (252)207-2293.  The season is here-Facebook us or RSS feed this site for more amazing weddings coming very soon -Julie

Janae and Matt

Sept 30th 2011

However you feel you want your wedding to be. . . vintage, whimsical, traditional, modern or just beachy, you will find something you love about this beach wedding at the Wild Horse house in Carova, NC.  This Outer Banks wedding celebration had the most gorgeous set up of perfectly decorated tables, colors that brought out the ocean blues and a contemporary and vibrant couple that made the whole occasion into a beachy, romantic cocktail party.  Seriously, I’m gaga over this one, it’s one of my favorites!-Julie

Classic French Wedding

July 1st, 2011

Good morning everybody, I have another amazing Outer Banks wedding for you today that we shot at the Grand Ritz Palm in Duck, NC, an extravagant, gorgeous house right outside the town of Duck, NC.  Don’t forget to visit this one on our facebook page at the bottom of this post to see this wedding in it’s full glory, below is just a little taste of this French delicacy. Honestly though, all gorgeous decorations, planning, and wedding themes from the amazingNanette from The Proper Setting aside, this couple is what really made this wedding amazing.  They were so so so in love, from the cry fest at the altar to the glorious dancing moves to the entire feel of love throughout, I left this wedding with a warm feeling in my heart … knowing that I had captured something really priceless.

From the Bride:”I just wanted to thank you and Lauren for doing such an amazing job at our wedding. You two were so creative, attentive…( and patient) and I know the photos are going to be absolutely amazing. With warmest regards,
Jacqueline and Wick Morgan”

In love with COLOR!

June 10th, 2011

Jessica and Brad

May 14th 2011

OK, I’m a  destination wedding junkie, I live at the beach, cherish the beach, and get to photograph beach weddings, which is gorgeous especially since I am a color freak!  Reds, Pinks and Oranges together like this wedding adds even more to my amazing job. – These colors were a perfect contrast to the sand on the beach at this Corolla wedding, and WOW!  The color pop, as always shown when using the amazing Renee Landry Style for decorations and flowers just blew our socks off when we found all of the details to photograph on the beach.   OK, and I must say my favorite color of the day came from the little girls cowboy boots hand dyed by the groom himself for his special girl!   Converse shoes, a raging cocktail party, and a fabulous sunset, we enjoyed photographing this one! – J

From the Bride:

“I am speechless…  The photos are amazing, fabulous and perfect!

Garden Themed Perfection

June 4th, 2011

Beach parties are a way of life here on the Outer Banks, that is why this wedding became so unique to us.  Elizabethan Gardens/108 Budleigh sites in Manteo are often overlooked because they are not at the beach, but they are just as unique and gorgeous!  Lindsey did it right by hiring the amazing Embellishers to make her Garden “theme” come to life with a modern flair full of detail and personality.  The people and kids at this wedding were captured in the cutest ways, we have ubbers of funny photos of them, just a few are below.  OK, and the cute, adorable little birdies adorning their last name initial on the front door to the reception all of the way to the sparkler exit, we loved capturing every last detail!

FROM THE BRIDE:

“Julie:  I am speechless.  These are so incredibly stunning…I had to close the door to my office so no one sees me tearing up at work.
It would be so hard to pick a favorite, but I am LOVING the picture of our flower girl and ring bearer and that look on my niece Sophia’s face.  And the detail shots…just WOW.  They capture everything perfectly…basically what I imagined perfect wedding pictures would look like.  Thank you sooo much.  Cannot wait to share these. ~Lindsey”
