Elizabethan Gardens Bubble Engagement

What a fantastic week! It started off right with this uber-stylish, unique couple that wanted some “different” engagement photos.  We started at Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, NC with a couple of different outfits, and my new favorite prop, THE BUBBLE MACHINE! I love the way the light was bouncing off of all of the bubbles, we had such a blast with this little contraption, I cannot wait to use it on their wedding day…note to all brides…..it’s the perfect DIY addition to  the end of your wedding or a first dance!  …Julie

Liza and Ben, this one might have to Take The Cake!

One of my favorite engagement portraits last year, Liza and Ben, just sent me over these adorable Save the Date cards they made with their cute as a button pics we took at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC. I must say, this one does take the cake – Love it!

To Liza and Ben, I would like to say that over the years I’ve developed an extreme love and appreciation for the brides and grooms that have a deep appreciative understanding of the marriage ceremony and how it brings us closer through Christ.  As soon as I saw you two I jumped for joy.  You are cool, contemporary, chic but at the same time have warm and welcoming personalities that I just know are going to shine through on your wedding day as a time of rejoicing in all aspects.  Looking forward to working with you two!-Julie

Save the Date!

Jenna and Jeremy are to be married this coming May and are having two ceremonies, a beach wedding here on the Outer Banks of NC and a Hindu wedding up north.  We love how they incorporated their engagement photos in their save the dates!-Julie

Lovin Sunset / Liza and Ben’s Beach Engagement

If I was never able to look at another engagement shoot after today, this would be a perfect ending.  Liza and Ben wanted a variety of different and artful types of engagement photos.  They opted for our larger package with three outfit changes including a cute Christmas Card shot, and special lighting.  I was a little bit worried we would be able to fit everything in because they were late arriving to the shoot, and I am so glad to they were-we shoot way into the darkness and wow, what a gorgeous Outer Banks sunset we had!  From the beach engagement photo session to the twilight sunset any Corolla bride and groom would die for, this couple IS perfection!
