Lauren and Joes Cocktail Bash Wedding Video

I love the ocean here on the Outer Banks, and especially beach weddings down in Hatteras and Buxton, NC, but as long as it is simple, and sweet I don’t necessarily think you have to have your “toes in the sand” … although 99.9% of our brides do choose this option. This wedding was different. This couple never made it to the beach, they kept it simple, all in one house on the sound … the bride and groom’s homegrown, intimate, warm style showed through in their DIY touches, but the backdrop of the sound still made you know you were “at the beach” without getting sandy! It makes us giddy here in the studio to share this lovely video with you.

Indian Hindu Wedding

Here it is, the fabulous Indian Hindu wedding I’ve been talking about for a year.  It exceeded all expectation.  In a dream world, those whom know me know I would be walking the beaches of Indonesia right now with my surfboard…this wedding in a small neighborhood tucked away in Chantilly, VA near Washington DC brought me back there with the drums, beautiful people, brilliant colors and very deep and meaningful joining of two lives and two families.  Every single day should be filled with such greatness!  Our entire team of photographed and videoed this wedding because we didn’t want to miss a thing.  There was so much going on every second I was thankful there were a few of us there to capture the details and meaningful beauty at this event from the decor to the joining of the hearts of Jenna and Jeremy – enjoy this post, it’s not one you see every day! – Juli

Jamie and Mike’s Sunset Wedding

This wedding completely bedazzled me with all of the beautiful people, the simple touches of the bride everywhere you turned, and my favorite, the “many faces” of Jamie that kept me entertained all night. Seriously, though, this wedding deserves a category all it’s own- I think the title would be “The Most Insanely Freaking Gorgeous, Undeniably Beautiful Wedding On the Planet.” -Julie

    Julie is the BEST!!! Best choice I made of all my vendors! She makes everyone feel comfortable and has a blast doing what she loves. She is so diligent and is a natural at capturing the best moments. She listens to exactly what you want and delivers it, but at the same time, adds her own creative style and ideas. Sunrise Wedding at the Sanderling in Duck, NC

This one is just off-the-charts amazing, folks!  An angelic, sweet, perfect sunrise beach wedding at the Sanderling in Duck, NC.  This bride had a vision and stuck with it starting with a lovely intimate entrance at sunrise for just the family, a walk on the beach, then having the ceremony afterwards.  The entire, and I mean entire wedding was on the beach from the ceremony to the brunch, to the first dance to the cake. What a fantastic idea ending in an amazing dip in the ocean after brunch for the whole family of 9.  It was a truly special morning that all vendors from the amazing staff at The Sanderling Resort, to the flowers from Shirley from Sugar Snap Florals, Scott Fransson on Guitar, Jay Bowman as minister, and myself and my staff felt blessed to be a part of.  To all brides out there, more of these weddings please! – Julie
