A Whalehead Club wedding to DIE for

March 14th, 2012

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more in love one of staff member Chris of Beach Productions beach weddings. This one was at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC and the reception was at Aqua S Restaurant in Duck, NC.  I love the details, seeing the story of the wedding unfold throughout the night in these images, and mostly the INSANELY gorgeous sunset that he captured. PS….Aqua S, if you are having a smaller wedding or a rehearsal dinner, is one of the best locations for sunset in Duck, NC.  We’re talking out of this world ladies and gents!..no words can describe that awesomeness but images can! Call us now to book him because after our clients see this one, the phones are going to be off the Hook – (252)207-2293.  The season is here-Facebook us or RSS feed this site for more amazing weddings coming very soon -Julie

Jewish Beach Wedding at Kitty Hawk Pier on the Outer Banks

October 30th, 2011

We just cannot get enough of Kitty Hawk pier beach weddings at the Hilton Garden Inn at milepost 1 on the Outer Banks.  It just may be the coolest little rustic venue ever….we all know there are plenty of piers around with water underneath you for the whole wedding event, but the rustic-ness of the pierhouse combined with our staff photographer Chris’s amazing talent as lead photographer at this event gives the place even more personality and wow factor.  After exchanging wedding vows, the groom stepped on a wine glass to symbolize the fragility of human happiness, then they all proceeded in to the rustic Kitty Hawk pierhouse to do the Hora-the traditional Jewish wedding dance….can we adopt this at all weddings? Why not? – Julie

An Elegant Beach Wedding and Backyard Affair

Dasha and Art

Oct 15th 2011

This couple stepped it up a notch with this modern take on the beach wedding theme.  Who says you can’t have style and class and still have your toes in the sand? Chic design from Bordeaux Events, bright pops of color, and oh, how I love the signature dance floor! Dasha and Art’s beach wedding was across the street from this gorgeous house in the Four Seasons in Duck, NC.  There were so many beautiful details, our eyes were popping out of our heads when we arrived to start the cameras rolling, and it kept going!  -Julie

Christine and Michael’s Eco Wedding Bash at Kitty Hawk Pier Beach

October 23rd, 2011

I just loved the details in this Eco wedding!  My favorite were the signs made out of beach wood that they found themselves after hurricane Isabel, but they also had mini garden flower pots as gifts for the guests with the couples names and wedding date on them, hand picked shells, an and a large old vintage window frame found by the couple to show pictures of their favorite flowers.  The florist did an excellent job infusing their “eco” style throughout the wedding with touches of bright color, infusing the color of green to be reminded of the re-purposed and recycled items to keep the budget in check – DIY brides, eat your heart out!-Julie

“So glad you were a part of our special day!!! Your the BEST!!!”-Christine and Mikey Brown

Janae and Matt

Sept 30th 2011

However you feel you want your wedding to be. . . vintage, whimsical, traditional, modern or just beachy, you will find something you love about this beach wedding at the Wild Horse house in Carova, NC.  This Outer Banks wedding celebration had the most gorgeous set up of perfectly decorated tables, colors that brought out the ocean blues and a contemporary and vibrant couple that made the whole occasion into a beachy, romantic cocktail party.  Seriously, I’m gaga over this one, it’s one of my favorites!-Julie

  4. Hi there Denise, and thank you for your email. You can elope on the beach for under $1000 or do a huge grand wedding here, they do it all. I suggest calling a coordinator – Nanette at a Proper Setting in Kill Devil Hills, NC to set up a phone call, figure out a budget and see if it will work for you. Then call me and we will start having some fun with photographs!
