How incredibly amazing does a super styley, Sarah Jessica Parker type bride... adorned with bird cage veil, short dress and yes.  .. .Christian Louboutin shoes sound?  Well as amazing as it may sound it looks even better than you can imagine when you scroll through the photographs of this fabulous Outer Banks wedding held at the Aquarium in Manteo, NC. Pink, black and white=to.die.for  This one is going to be hard to top!

Classic French Wedding

Good morning everybody, I have another amazing Outer Banks wedding for you today that we shot at the Grand Ritz Palm in Duck, NC, an extravagant, gorgeous house right outside the town of Duck, NC.  Don't forget to visit this one on our facebook page at the bottom of this post to see this wedding in it's full glory, below is just a little taste of this French delicacy. Honestly though, all gorgeous decorations, planning, and wedding themes from the amazing Nanette from The Proper Setting aside, this couple is what really made this wedding amazing.  They were so so so in love, from the cry fest at the altar to the glorious dancing moves to the entire feel of love throughout, I left this wedding with a warm feeling in my heart ... knowing that I had captured something really priceless.

Whenever I see a wedding this pretty and perfectly put together it tags my heart.  The simple yet thoughtfully planned out details in the shades of blue, selfmade napkins and programs . . .even blue margaritas to go with the theme made this elopement into an elegant beach party.  Simple, beach, love . . .ahhh love it!

We photograph a lot of weddings around here and each one is gorgeous in it's own right, but this one was over the top amazing! The colors were bright and amazing from the out of this world table settings to the chairs at the ceremony on the beach.  Not one detail was left untouched.  It's like an artist came with a brush and color palette and painted the entire place.  Wow, this one blew our socks off.

Married in a Lightning Storm

A Mid August Day in the summer what better way for everybody to get to know each other than in a wind and lightning storm?  The sky threatened all day from every angle, but it ended up perfectly dry.  With the pipes player in the background to the butterfly sendoff during the ceremony in remembrance of his sister, this wedding was well thought out.  Brenda has waited a long time to get married and wanted to do it right.  After gallivanting around at the beach, we all headed back up to a massive house that she rented.   Dangling from above at sunset were a ton of lights serving as a ceiling to dinner and toasts below.  We ended up with some very unique photographs and video (our entire team worked this one-so more to come with video)!  Drinking wine, laughing and dancing on an ocean front deck at dusk in an wind and lightning storm is "surreal" says Brenda to me at the end of the night. The oceanfront dancing deck is a must, ladies looking for rentals while reading this take note.  Nobody seemed to notice what was going on all around them, they were having so much fun - check out the lightning photo by our staff Lauren Cowart below-I absolutely loved shooting it so hopefully the beautiful and carefree feel of their evening comes across.
