When Julie first started working at weddings in 2000, we were treated to what passes for a controversy in contemporary photography. A woman with a background of artistic, journalistic videography refocuses her studio exhibits to a multimedia presentation. Julie says, "Since the photography industry has moved to digital, I have found myself at the forefront of the game. With the knowledge and experience of a Business Degree in Arts and Science, television and a hundred wedding documentaries behind me, right away I found myself teaching film photographers how to use digital from scratch. I taught them how to integrate their photographs to video and how to use digital media and software. My knowledge base of shooting and editing techniques grew tremendously through the process." A once dueling rivalry, photography and videography were combined into one.Julie travels yearly to a different foreign country for two months to develop her skills through seminars and experience ending in a yearly photography exhibit at the Beach Productions studios.
